Successful World Migratory Bird Day Oct Event 2020 – Mongolia (Mongolian Ornithological Society (MOS))

Birds Connect Our World in Mongolia

Organizer:

Mongolian Ornithological Society, Ministry of Environment and Tourism Mongolian, National University of Mongolia, The Education art office of Ulaanbaatar along with its 9 districts, administrations of 21 provinces, MNB TV and Motherland LLC.

Participants:

A total of 335 districts and towns in Mongolia, where belong 563 high schools. The certain number of participants will be known by the end of December.

Outcome:

Amount number of participants will be known by the end of December for attended at World Migratory Bird Day Mongolia-2020. Also, we announced “Give a nest to birds and Give a life to birds” competition will be organized 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grades students of high school in Mongolia. Students and anybody who participates in our event gets the latest and updated news and information on migratory birds and waste separation, recycling and economic turnover, and most importantly they should be aware of bird conversation.

Summary:

With slogan “Bird connect our world” this year WMBD was celebrated by Mongolian Ornithological Society and EAAFP, Ministry of Environment and Tourism Mongolian, National University of Mongolia, The Education art office of Ulaanbaatar along with its 9 districts, administrations of 21 provinces, MNB TV and Motherland LLC. 01 October, 2020 to 25 December8 2020. This event consist of several contents including video presentation about migratory birds (Part 1), waste separation, recycling and economic turnover, TV broadcast and Give a nest to bird and Give a life to birds competitions(students of high school 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grades in Mongolia).
