We are excited to unveil the 12th Meeting of Partners (#MOP12) theme ‘Weaving Connections: Celebrating Migration, Traditional Knowledge, and Innovation across our Flyway,’ a powerful embodiment of the spirit of “weaving” diverse communities, scientific innovations, and shared traditional knowledge across the East Asian–Australasian Flyway.
Inspired by weaving patterns from the three main island groups of the Philippines: Ramit from Luzon, Hablon from Visayas, and Yakan from Mindanao, the logo ties beautifully with the theme with patterns fitted into a figure of a Far Eastern Curlew, a species commonly seen in the #EAAFlyway. Co-organised by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) of the Philippines and the EAAFP, MOP12 brings together Partners, Flyway Site Managers, Governance Committees, Working Groups and Task Forces to celebrate our shared progress and set the path forward for the Partnership. This year’s MOP will be held from 8 to 14 November 2025 in Cebu, Philippines.
We invite our Partners to stay tuned for updates by following the MOP12 hashtag #WeavingConnectionsforEAAF!
