Partners engagement for UNFCCC COP26

From 31 October to 12 November 2021, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) will be hosted in Glasgow, UK, in partnership with Italy. This year COP will highlight important agendas to finalize the ‘Paris Rulebook,’ which are the implementation guidelines for the 2015 Paris Agreement. Moreover, strong encouragements have been made for Parties to include Nature-Based Solutions into their climate action plans, as nature and biodiversity are essential to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement, limiting global warming to well below 2 degrees and pursuing efforts to limit it to 1.5 degrees.

The EAAFP Secretariat is summarizing side events of EAAFP Partners during the Conference, please download [here].
