The National Geographic grant program provides funds for risk-taking, distinctive projects from around the world. Especially, they encourage applicants in Asia.

As ‘wildlife and wild places’ is one of three themes of projects they desire to fund, many stories in EAAFP have a good potential to attract their attention, not only of National Geographic Committee, but also from around the world.

The project focuses are ranged in broad sectors- research, conservation, education, storytelling, and technology.

Reviewing applications two times a year, the first review on projects has started.

The deadline for applying is 1 April 2017, for decision by 21 August.
