Wen Qing Ng has contributed to the conservation of migratory birds and their habitats throughout the East Asian-Australasian Flyway as a Communications Officer and concluded her duties today.

Wen Qing strengthened social media platforms, coordinated CEPA working group meetings, supported World Migratory Birds Day, and participated in international and local activities, such as attending CMS COP14 and cleaning the BFS habitats in Incheon to support on-ground activities and deliver the advocacy of EAAFP. Not only did she fulfill her duties, but she also always brought bright insights to her role and spread joy to all her colleagues with her sense of humor and her thoughtful nature in caring for others.

On August 30th, the Secretariat held a farewell party for Wen Qing. It was a bittersweet time, reminding us of our past together and wishing her all the best for the future.

The EAAFP Secretariat was pleased to work with Wen Qing, who has special skills in science communication and a unique perspective on creating a better, more harmonious planet for both humanity and nature. Now, Wen Qing has started her migration toward her dreams and goals, coinciding with the autumn migration. Everyone remaining at EAAFP wishes her gentle winds at her back, cheering her on in this new journey.
