Introduction
Since 2020, the EAAFP Secretariat has been engaged in local projects in Ro Korea; two main projects were conducted in Incheon Metropolitan City and Hwaseong City. Throughout the projects, diverse stakeholders from the local communities were able to be involved and facilitate cooperation for the environmental conservation of wetlands that are vital for the migratory waterbirds along the EAA Flyway. Keeping its visions and objectives, the EAAFP Secretariat will continuously strive to put numerous efforts into wetland conservation, further encouraging local stakeholders at various levels to strengthen community engagement in terms of sustainability.
