The Ministry of the Environment Japan has created awareness-raising materials such as a brochure to explain the East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership, and a leaflet to introduce Flyway Network Sites (FNS) in Japan. Now, it is pleased to announce the release of the revised edition of both the brochure and the leaflet for further awareness-raising activities promoting EAAFP.

In Japan, domestic activities have been promoted under each of the species groups: Cranes, Anatidae and Shorebirds. The representative activities in FNS under each species group are introduced in the new brochure.

Higashiyoka-higata (Saga, Japan) became a new EAAFP Flyway Network Site in May 2016. Japan is home to 33 Flyway Network Sites. Information and a picture of the new site have been added to the new leaflet.
