Call for Photo Donations for EAAFP 2025 WMBD Calendar

The EAAFP Secretariat is thrilled to invite you to join the celebration of the 2025 World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) by submitting your best the East Asian-Australasian Flyway photographs! This year’s calendar project is a unique chance to showcase the beauty and importance of migratory waterbirds along the East Asian–Australasian Flyway in line with the 2025 WMBD theme, “Shared Spaces: Creating Bird-Friendly Cities & Communities.” This theme highlights the importance of urban and community spaces for migratory birds.
We’re looking for captivating images from EAAFP Partners, flyway site managers, photographers, bird watchers, and nature enthusiasts that showcase migratory waterbirds in community spaces, or cities and countrysides that adopt bird-friendly practices which include creating healthy habitats, implementing effective anti-collision measures, reducing pollution, and providing ample food sources for birds.
🦢 Why contribute?
Selected photos will be featured in the EAAFP’s official 2025 calendar, allowing your work to reach and inspire the East Asian-Australasian Flyway community and beyond while celebrating the essential role of bird-friendly spaces. Photographers will be properly credited for their work.
