In most of the cases, the young bird doesn’t need actual help. If the bird is a fledgling – a bird that have just left the nest – they are still under the care of their parents. You can leave the bird there and observe from far so that the parent birds can take care. If the bird is a nestling – a bird sparsely feathered and not capable of hopping, walking, flitting, or gripping tightly to your finger, please put the bird back to the nest which should be found nearby.
