DPRK became a Partner in 2018 (MoP10). It now has 2 Flyway Network Sites, the most recent designation being 1999, February. DPRK occupies the top half of the Korean peninsula and has coast on the Yellow Sea along with the Republic of Korea and China. The Yellow Sea is a vitally important region for supporting migrating shorebirds, including the Key Species of the EAAFP, on their journeys between breeding and non-breeding habitats.
